How to prepare for an event in Bali

Preparation depends on the type of event and the number of guests. For a wedding with guests, allow 3–6 months: location selection, reservations, visas, flight. For a proposal — 5–7 days. For a corporate event — 1–3 months. The earlier we start, the larger the choice and the lower the prices.

How to save without losing quality: green season (prices lower by 20–30%), weekday instead of weekend, reduction of decor to accents, video teaser instead of a full movie. The main thing in the estimate is the number of guests: each guest adds $50–90 to the catering.

Seasons and weather

Dry season (April–October) — stable weather, sunsets without rain, high occupancy and prices. Green season (November–March) — lower prices, greener nature, rains are usually short (1–2 hours in the evening). For any season — a backup plan. The villa has a covered terrace, the beach has a canopy or transfer to a resort. The transfer is free, the timeline is adjusted in 20 minutes. Weather in Bali rarely spoils an event — it just changes the scenery.

Logistics and transport

Visas and documents

Citizens of the Russian Federation and CIS need a visa to Bali. Two options: visa on arrival (VOA, $35, 30 days) and electronic e-VOA (applied for in advance online). Safety and health

Bali is a safe island for tourists. Basic measures: bottled drinking water, sunscreen (SPF 50+), repellent in the jungle, insurance with coverage from $30,000. First aid kit — with the coordinator at every event. Medicine — international clinics in Denpasar and Canggu.
